As I was sitting in a London taxi last night (saying goodbye to my local and London, and musing on the last seven years etc.) I was mildly wondering how I could do a Stephen Fry and buy a second-hand cab to drive around in Cardiff…

Mate, incidently there ‘was’ a cab for sale at one of the garages on Newport Road - somewhere up near MacDonalds (on that side of the road).. No idea if it’s still there or not. I was going to buy a black cab in Leicester a few years ago. Now its just another midly amusing anecdote
